All existing Tax payers registered under the Central Excise, Service tax, State sales Tax or value added tax(VAT) , Entry Tax, Luxury Tax and Entertainment Tax are required to provide their details at GST portal managed by GSTN for the purpose of migrating themselves to the GST regime.

Once the tax payers provide their details there will be no need for them to register again with the state or centre once the GST Act is implemented. Before visiting the GST system portal, you must have the Provisional ID and password given by concerted state authorities.

REQUIRED INFORMATION

4. Valid Mobile Number

5. Bank Account Number

6. Bank IFSC

It is compulsory for every person to register if the annual turnover is greater than Rs. 20 lakhs which is the GST exemption limit for registration.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR GST MIGRATION AND REGISTRATION

1. Proof of constitution of business.

• In case of deed – Certificate of Partnership deed.

• In case of LLP – Certificate of incorporation and partnership Deed.

• In case of company – Certificate of incorporation.

2. Passport photo of the promoter ors partners

3. Proof of appointment of authorized signatory

4. Photograph of authorized signatory

5. Opening page of passbook or statement with the following information:

7. Branch address

8. Address of account holder

9. Few transaction details

The whole system of enrollment will be paperless . To complete the process one must authentic it with digital signature(software through which one can sign electronically i.e. on the computer). Once submit the application and sign the same with digital signature then the ARN number will be generated. The acknowledgement number must be saved for all future correspondences.
